For anyone who didn't just watch the link I posted above me, The Pokemon company is creating a new anime to go along-side the current one. Whether this anime will only be afew episodes or not is not known, it could even just be a special episode. This anime is based off of the Pokemon Red and Blue/Green games and will follow the storyline of the games.
The main character appears to have chosen Charmander, while Green chose Squirtle...no information of Bulbasaur.
